Abstract

FIELD: medical equipment, particular, medical devices using the energy of laser radiation for crushing solid concrements located inside organism with the aim to alleviate their subsequent removal from organism. SUBSTANCE: in laser lithotriptor with offered location of its members, radiation pulse of the required duration (1-2 mcs) is formed owing to multiple passage of light along the passive line of retardation made in form of a set of focusing members arranged in pairs relative to each other at double focal distance, with even number pf pairs of focusing members. EFFECT: higher reliability and safety in performance of surgical intervention. 5 cl, 7 dwg

Claims (1)

The invention relates to the field of medical technology, namely to medical devices that use the energy of laser radiation to destroy solid stones inside the body, in order to facilitate their subsequent removal from it. The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability and safety of surgical intervention. In a laser lithotripter with the claimed arrangement of elements, the formation of a radiation pulse of the required duration (1 - 2 μs) is performed due to multiple passages of light along a passive delay line, made in the form of a set of focusing elements pairwise arranged relative to each other at double focal length, and the number of focusing pairs items selected even.
