Abstract

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of development of new radiation technologies and to its industrial usage, specifically, to sterilization of expendable medical articles. Given invention solves the problem of volumetric sterilization of expendable medical articles by beam of accelerated electrons. Achieved technical result consists in provision of radiation protection of personnel and in decreased area occupied by protective structure. Device for electronic sterilization includes electron accelerator positioned vertically, loading/unloading unit and technological line moving sterilization objects. Loading/ unloading unit and electric accelerator are placed at different levels with reference to L-shaped technological line and it comprises transportation cars moving along closed contour passing through to irradiation field. EFFECT: improved protection of personnel, decreased area occupied by protective structure.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to the field of testing new radiation technologies, as well as their industrial use, in particular for the sterilization of disposable medical devices, etc. The invention solves the problem of volumetric sterilization of medical devices for disposable use by a beam of accelerated electrons, while the technical result achieved is to provide radiation protection for personnel while reducing the occupied area of protective structures. The device for electronic sterilization contains a vertically arranged electron accelerator, a loading and unloading device and a processing line that moves the sterilization objects. The loading and unloading device is located with an electron accelerator at different levels relative to the production line. The production line is L-shaped and consists of transport trolleys moving in a closed circuit passing through the irradiation area.
