Abstract

FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refractory materials useful in ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, in glass- making, chemical, and other industries. Improved quality of refractory materials is achieved with using blend containing 40-60% of granular mullite-containing filler fraction more 0.5 mm, the rest being finely ground aluminosilicate and zirconium components composing fraction less 0.09 mm in the form of intergrinding mix. Mix has the following grain constitution: 40-70% of mullite-containing filler, 20-30% of refractory clay or kaolin, and zirconium dioxide to balance but not less than 10%, and silica to zirconium dioxide ratio 0.7 to 0.5. Prepared mass is pressed and burned at 1400-1500 C. EFFECT: improved quality of produce. 1 tbl

Изобретение относится к технологии огнеупоров, которые могут использоваться в черной и цветной металлургии, в стекловатенной, химической и других отраслях промышленности. Предлагаемое изобретение в сравнении с прототипом позволяет улучшить основные качественные характеристики изготавливаемых на основе предлагаемой шихты огнеупоров. Этот результат достигается применением шихты с прерывистым зерновым составом, включающей 40 - 60% зернистого муллитсодержащего наполнителя фракции более 0,5 мм, остальное - тонкомолотые алюмосиликатный и цирконистый компоненты фракции менее 0,09 мм в виде смеси совместного помола, причем смесь совместного помола имеет следующий зерновой состав, %: муллитсодержащий наполнитель - 40 - 70; огнеупорная глина или каолин - 20 - 30; диоксид циркония - остальное (но не менее 10), а соотношение свободный SiO2/ZrO2 = 0,7 - 0,5. Приготовленную массу прессуют и обжигают при 1400 - 1500oС.The invention relates to the technology of refractories that can be used in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, in glass wool, chemical and other industries.
