Abstract
FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes effective flocculant which is intended to flocculate and remove substances and harmful metals when added to industrial sewage, human activity waste, raw service water, or the like and removes effectively trihalogen methanes and precursors thereof. The claimed flocculant acts as cleaning agent for water. Claimed invention is concerned with new flocculant composition which comprises water-soluble aluminium salt, water-soluble iron salt and water-soluble magnesium salt at Al, Fe and Mg atomic weight ratio of 1:0.01-2: 0.01-2, respectively, and sum of $$$ and MgO is 1-15 wt%. EFFECT: improved properties of the flocculant composition.
