Abstract

FIELD: combustion of gaseous fuel in furnaces. SUBSTANCE: gas burner has chamber 1 with nozzle 2 for air admission. Tube 3 placed therein functions to supply gas. Pipe union 4 fixed on end of tube 3 has outer hollow nozzle 5 fixed therein and accommodating hollow nozzle 6 entered into it in a spaced relation. Walls of nozzle 6 have holes 7 for passing gas and those of external nozzle 5 have holes 8 for gas outlet. Holes 7 and 8 may be made so that center lines of holes in walls of internal hollow nozzle are not aligned with those of holes in walls of external hollow nozzle. Nozzles 5 and 6 may be made in the form of shells at great diameters of nozzle 2 in exit section; they m ay be also made so that their walls project beyond edge of nozzle 2 into burner tunnel and so that they may be free to move along center line (or by displacing tube 3 in chamber 1, or by displacing hollow nozzles 6 and 5 in threaded joints).
