Сущность предлагаемого изобретения состоит в том, что препарат для аэрозольной терапии и профилактики респираторных заболеваний животных, содержащий йод, йодистый калий (натрий), триэтиленгликоль, молочную кислоту 40%-ную, дополонительно содержит поливиниловый спирт и йод при следующем соотношении исходных компонентов, мас.%: йод 0,50 - 1,89, калий (натрий) йодистый 0,16 - 0,82, триэтиленгликоль 46,00 - 12,60, кислота молочная 40%-ная 4,00 - 45,00, спирт поливиниловый 0,56 - 1,84, вода до 100,0. Кроме того, при получении препарата во время приготовления раствора йода в качестве растворителя используют триэтиленгликоль при 90 - 110oС, затем полученный раствор выдерживают 0,5 - 4 ч при этой же температуре. При приготовлении раствора поливинилового спирта триэтиленгликоля берут 44,00 - 5,49, а воды - 48,78 - 37,85 мас.%, а при приготовлении раствора йода берут йода - 0,50 - 1,89, триэтиленгликоля - 2,00 - 7,11 мас.%. Раствор йода вводят в раствор поливинилового спирта охлажденным до 20 - 35oС, а раствор поливинилового спирта - охлажденным до 13 - 17oС.
