FIELD: superhigh-frequency engineering. SUBSTANCE: frequency multiplier has cascaded input and output microstrip filters and varactor diodes connected in parallel to them. Output cavity of input filter also functions as input cavity of output filter; one or both halves of its strip conductor is shorted out to ground through varactor diodes. First resonance frequency of input filter output cavity equals input-power frequency; second resonance frequency equals output-power frequency. First resonance frequency of input-filter input cavity equals input-power frequency; third resonance frequency is higher than output-power frequency; input power is applied to voltage node point at second-cavity frequency. Second resonance frequency of output-filter output cavity equals output-power frequency; output power is picked off cavity at voltage node point at input-power frequency. First resonance frequency of output-filter output cavity equals output-power frequency. EFFECT: reduced number of components due to more effective their use (narrow-band frequency multiplier may incorporate only one microstrip cavity); reduced size of device.

Первая резонансная частота входного резонатора входного фильтра равна частоте входной мощности, третья резонансная частота выше частоты выходной мощности, а входная мощность поступает в него в точке узла напряжения на частоте второго резонанса. Вторая резонансная частота выходного резонатора выходного фильтра равна частоте выходной мощности, а выходная мощность снимается с резонатора в точке узла напряжения на частоте входной мощности. Первая резонансная частота выходного резонатора выходного фильтра равна частоте выходной мощности. Изобретение направлено на уменьшение числа элементов умножителя частоты за счет более эффективного их использования. Технический результат - уменьшение габаритов устройства.
