Изобретение относится к теплообменным аппаратам, применяемым преимущественно в системах оборотного водоснабжения для испарительного охлаждения воды. Целью предлагаемого изобретения является повышение эффективности охлаждения оборотной воды за счет увеличения поверхности и времени контакта взаимодействующих сред при снижении энергозатрат на осуществление процесса и обеспечении высокой надежности в работе. Поставленная цель обеспечивается организацией четырех ступеней охлаждения воды воздухом, за счет которых осуществляется высокая эффективность и надежность работы аппарата, имеющего невысокое аэродинамическое сопротивление благодаря отсутствию подвижных узлов и деталей.
