Abstract
FIELD: power plants working on hydrocarbon fuels and oxygen under water. SUBSTANCE: power plant has fuel reservoir and liquid oxygen reservoir, combustion product cooler-divider for separating gaseous products and water provided with water receiver, carbon dioxide cooler with carbon dioxide and non-liquefied gaseous combustion product receiver and oxygen preheater. Oxygen reservoir is divided into at least two tanks. Plant is also provided with excess oxygen liquefier for liquefying excess oxygen contained in combustion products. Oxygen liquefier is provided with oxygen inlet branch pipe connected with delivery branch pipes of tanks by means of pipe lines through valves, oxygen outlet branch pipe connected with oxygen inlet branch pipe of carbon dioxide liquefier, liquefied excess oxygen drain branch pipe connected with intake branch pipes of tanks by means of pipe lines through valves, gaseous combustion product inlet branch pipe connected with gaseous combustion product outlet of carbon dioxide liquefier, nonliquefied combustion product outlet branch pipe connected with nonliquefied combustion product inlet branch pipe of receiver. EFFECT: isolation of power plant from surrounding medium as far as combustion products are concerned.
