Process for preparing compounds of formula: X-CO-NH-Y by acylation of amino group of biogenic amine with activated pentafluorophenyl esters of N-protected amino acids or fatty acid chlorides in organic solvent followed by purification by ion-exchange chromatography, isoelectric deposition or repeated extraction from water and organic solvents. EFFECT: improved properties of biogenic amine- N-acyl derivatives.
