The device is furnished with a receiving tank located coaxially with the working cylinder, the tank being connected to the branch- pipe for delivery of liquid to the inlet chamber, heat exchanger mounted inside the receiving tank coaxially with the working cylinder, and a compensation chamber, whose housing is made as a cylinder, changing into a truncated cone, installed between the working cylinder and branch-pipe for discharge of product; the diameter of the compensation chamber housing exceeds the diameter of the working cylinder. Besides, the device may be also provided with an automatic control system furnished with a temperature sensor installed on the branch-pipe for discharge of product, and a lower level detector providing respectively a continuous control of radiation source power, depending on the product flow rate and temperature, and control of production process at a transition from product to its liquid substitute and back. Сущность изобретения: устройство для обработки жидкости излучением в тонком слое включает вертикальный рабочий цилиндр, смонтированный внутри него источник излучения, патрубок для подвода жидкости, сообщенную с ним и полостью цилиндра приемную камеру с формирователем тонкого слоя, расположенную соосно рабочему цилиндру, и патрубок для отвода продукта. При этом устройство снабжено расположенным коаксиально рабочему цилиндру приемным баком, соединенным с патрубком для подвода жидкости в приемную камеру, теплообменником, смонтированным внутри приемного бака коаксиально рабочему цилиндру, и компенсационной камерой, корпус которой выполнен в виде цилиндра, переходящего в усеченный конус, установленной между рабочим цилиндром и патрубком для отвода продукта, причем диаметр корпуса компенсационной камеры превышает диаметр рабочего цилиндра.
