Abstract

Additional supporting device 6 with extension mechanism 7 is mounted on chassis 1 above main supporting device 4 on poles 5. When self-propelled chassis advances rotary brush cutter, main supporting device 4 embraces shrub vegetation which is partially bent and cut by cutting members 3. Main supporting device 4 retains only low vegetation in the process of cutting and following grinding. When high vegetation is to be cut, additional supporting member 6 is activated to bend tree trunks and develop required shear tension. Additional supporting member 6 retains high vegetation within working zone in the process of cutting and grinding of vegetation. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation.

На самоходном шасси 1 выше основного поддерживающего устройства 4 на стойках 5 смонтировано дополнительное поддерживающее устройство 6 с механизмом выдвижения 7. Роторный кусторез работает следующим образом. При надвигании кустореза самоходным шасси 1 древесно-кустарниковая растительность попадает в зону захвата основного поддерживающего устройства 4, частично подгибается и срезается режущими органами 3. При этом основное поддерживающее устройство 4 обеспечивает удержание лишь маломерной древесно-кустарниковой растительности при ее срезании и последующем измельчении. При срезании крупномерных деревьев вступает в работу дополнительное поддерживающее устройство, которое пригибает стволы, создавая необходимый натяг для срезания, а также удерживает крупномерные стволы в рабочей зоне, пока идет процесс срезания их и измельчения.
