Abstract

FIELD: methods and apparatuses for working of fragile plates, for example, made of glass and with straight and curvilinear sides. SUBSTANCE: aim is to increase quality of plates working and to decrease number of tools types and sizes used for working of different thickness plates. Apparatus for plates working has base 1, on which rotating table 2 with mean for plates fastening (drawing does not show it, the mean as a version is made as pneumatic sucker) is located; lever 3 with drive 4, on shaft of which abrasive grinding disk 5 is fixed. Grinding disk 5 is made in the form of body and disks, that form profile surface with side parts and bottom part for working of plates side surfaces. Side parts of profile surface are made with higher abrasive capability and bottom part - with lower abrasive capability and firmness. Parts of profile surface are detachable and adjustable by width. Disks are fixed on body by any known method, for example, using thermal glue. Apparatus is operating in following way. Worked plate is set on rotating table 2 and make it to rotate. Abrasive disk 5 is moved close to plate surface and also make disk to rotate using engine 4. Keeping in mind, that plates bevels are worked by tool parts of higher abrasive capability and its side surfaces - by tool parts with lower abrasive capability, then faster removal of material from plate bevels takes place and simultaneously more uniform removal of material from plate side surfaces is exercised. As disks as a version are made detachable and adjustable by width (it is possible to substitute one width disks for another width disks), it allows to work plates of different width. EFFECT: increased quality of plates working and decreased number of tools types and sizes used for working of different thickness plates. 1 dwg

Изобретение относится к способам и устройствам для обработки хрупких пластин, например, выполненных из стекла, имеющих прямые и криволинейные стороны. Цель изобретения - повышение качества обработки пластин, а также уменьшение количества типоразмеров инструмента для пластин разной толщины. Устройство для обработки пластин состоит из основания 1, на котором размещен вращающийся столик 2 с устройством закрепления пластин, рычага 3 с приводом 4, на валу которого закреплен абразивный шлифовальный круг 5. Шлифовальный круг 5 выполнен в виде корпуса и дисков, которые образуют профильную поверхность с боковыми участками и донным участком для обработки боковых поверхностей пластин. Боковые участки профильной поверхности выполнены с большей, а донный участок - с меньшей абразивной способностью и твердостью. Участки профильной поверхности выполнены съемно-регулируемыми по ширине. Диски могут быть закреплены на корпусе любым известным способом, например посредством термоклея. Работает устройство следующим образом. На вращающийся столик 2 устанавливают обрабатываемую пластину и приводят его во вращение. Подводят к поверхности пластины абразивный круг 5 и также приводят его во вращение посредством двигателя 4. Так как фаски пластины обрабатывают участками инструмента с более высокой, а ее боковые поверхности - участками инструмента с более низкой абразивной способностью, происходит более быстрый съем материала с фасок пластины и одновременно происходит более равномерный съем материала с ее боковой поверхности. Так как диски могут быть выполнены съемно-регулируемыми по ширине (то есть можно заменять одни диски другими с разной толщиной), можно обрабатывать пластины разной толщины.

The device for processing plates consists of a base 1, on which there is a rotating table 2 with a device for securing the plates, a lever 3 with a drive 4, on the shaft of which an abrasive grinding wheel is fixed 5. The grinding wheel 5 is made in the form of a housing and disks that form a profile surface with side sections and a bottom section for processing the side surfaces of the plates. The lateral sections of the profile surface are made with a larger and the bottom section with less abrasive ability and hardness. The sections of the profile surface are made removably adjustable in width. Disks can be mounted on the housing in any known manner, for example by means of hot melt adhesive. The device operates as follows. On the rotating table 2 set the workpiece and bring it into rotation. The abrasive wheel 5 is brought to the surface of the plate and is also rotated by the engine 4. Since the bevels of the plate are machined with parts of the tool with a higher and its side surfaces are machined with parts of the tool with a lower abrasive capacity, material is removed more quickly from the chamfers of the plate and at the same time, a more uniform removal of material from its lateral surface occurs. Since the disks can be made removably adjustable in width (that is, it is possible to replace some disks with others with different thicknesses), it is possible to process plates of different thicknesses.
