Abstract
FIELD: experimental medicine. SUBSTANCE: mammals are kept in a cage where there is an open reservoir with 70-% formaldehyde solution (content of formaldehyde in aspirated air 17.5-18.5 mg/l). The animals are exposed to this atmosphere for five or seven months. One group of animals (after exposure for five months) is examined for hepatitis, and the other group (exposed for seven months) is examined for hepatic cirrhosis. EFFECT: simpler method.
