The entire pack is secured with screws with diameter of about 25 mm of strong wood )pine, spruce, fir, birch, and others). Six screws are arranged in pairs in the center and ends of tie. Center of embedded steel members coincides with screw axis. EFFECT: higher reliability and durability of track structure and rolling stock, reduced level of dynamic adverse effect of rolling stock on the track due to higher damping ability of tie.

Шпала-демпфер состоит из двух сплошных внешних брусьев и трех составных внутренних, между которыми расположены металлические закладные связующие элементы, изготовленные из стального листа или сетки толщиной примерно 0,2 мм, являющейся отходом штамповочного производства, а также слои маслостойкого эластомера. Сплошные внешние и составные внутренние брусья, а также находящиеся между ними закладные стальные элементы связаны слоем вибростойкого клея. Весь пакет соединен винтами диаметром примерно 25 мм из прочных сортов древесины (сосны, ели, пихты, березы и пр.). Шесть винтов располагаются попарно в центре и по краям шпалы.
