Abstract

FIELD: aeronautical engineering; boundary layer control devices. SUBSTANCE: laminarization of boundary layer is effected due to finned surface provided in nonlinear area of laminar-turbulent transition on straight wing and in area of destruction of determined stationary vortices on yawing wing. Fins of surface are located along direction of local flow. Height of peaks of finned surface shall not exceed local thickness of boundary layer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of boundary layer control. 3 cl, 5 dwg

Claims (1)

The invention relates to aircraft and can be used in devices for controlling the boundary layer. Purpose: increasing the efficiency of boundary layer control7 This is achieved by laminarizing the boundary layer due to the installation of ribbed surfaces in the nonlinear region of the transition of the laminar layer to the turbulent one on the direct wing, and in the area of destruction of deterministic stationary vortices on the sliding wing. Moreover, the edges of the surface are located along the direction of the local flow. The height of the peaks of the ribbed surface should not exceed the local thickness of the boundary layer.
