Abstract

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves correcting geometry of worn neck by machining; applying annular strip with layer of paste-like solder on its inner surface to prepared neck portion, with thickness of strip being selected equal or exceeding the depth of thermal effect zone created during fixing of strip on neck by contact-spot pulsed welding by means of rolls. Adjacent spots of welded joint overlap each other in axial and circular direction for value equal to 30-50%. In case thickness of neck portion is to be increased, strip surface is machined to remove irregularities created by rolls during soldering process, and additional annular strip with layer of paste-like solder on its inner surface is applied to main strip. Additional strip is retained on main strip by contact-spot pulsed welding. Width of each strip is selected to be equal to space between crankshaft neck grooves. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of repaired crankshaft neck. 6 cl, 5 dwg

Technical essence: the method of repairing the neck of the crankshaft consists in correcting the geometry of the worn shaft neck by machining it. Then, on the prepared neck surface, an annular ribbon pad is installed with a layer of pasty solder on the inner surface. The thickness of the lining is chosen equal to or greater than the depth of the heat affected zone that occurs when the lining is fixed on the neck by means of contact point pulse soldering carried out by means of rollers. Adjacent points of the soldered seam are located with mutual overlapping of their areas axially in the circumferential directions. The overlap is 30 - 50%, which ensures equal strength of the solder joint in the circumferential and axial directions. If it is necessary to increase the thickness of the restored neck surface on the surface of the lining, which is pre-treated to remove bumps from the effects of the rollers during soldering, an additional annular ribbon lining with a paste-like solder is installed on the inner surface. After installing an additional tape pad, it is fixed to the pad by contact-point pulse soldering. The width of each pad is chosen equal to the distance between the fillets of the shaft journal.
