Abstract
FIELD: virology. SUBSTANCE: method ensures to detect antigen and antibodies to virus in biological materials by using the following complex: IgG-biotin + streptavidine + biotin -β-galactosidase at ratio of streptavidine and biotinylated enzyme = 2:1 or 1:1, respectively. Reaction sensitivity is increased by 25-500 times and provides the detection of 3 lg LD50/ml and 2 lg TCD50/ml virus. The proposed set consists of capacities containing the control and specific antigens; control and specific sera; conjugates: specific IgG-biotin, antispecies IgG-biotin, biotin-b-galactosidase; streptovidine.
