Способ заключается в измельчении целлюлозосодержащего сырья до размера частиц 0,7 - 4,5 мм, воздушной сепарации во взвешенном слое с активным гидродинамическим режимом при скорости воздушного потока в зоне слоя 2,0 - 4,0 м/с, высоте слоя сепарируемого материала 0,2 - 0,5 м в течение 10 - 30 мин и фракционировании гранул. Устройство для получения гранулированного сорбента состоит из молотковой дробилки 1 и сепаратора 2 с секционной мешалкой 3. В крышке сепаратора выполнен загрузочный патрубок 4 с шлюзовым затвором 5. В дне сепаратора расположен разгрузочный патрубок 6, с которым совмещено приемное устройство 7.
