SUBSTANCE: method involves sample preparing, measurement of nitrate ion-selective electrode potential and determination of nitrate nitrogen concentration in the analyzed sample based on the measured potential value obtained. Sample is prepared by sap pressing out from the fresh vegetable material and treated with 1% aqueous solution of alumino-potassium alum at their volume ratio = 1:(28-30) at stirring. EFFECT: simplified and accelerated method.
