V-belt drive ratio is made equal to ratio of sewing machine maximum sewing speed to electric motor rated speed. Overall dimensions, mass and electric and magnetic characteristics of electric motor are made for commutated higher frequency current of 400-450 Hz. Motor speed variation range is set by microprocessor within the limits from rated speed to lower values. Electric motor is multipole machine. Number of poles is equal to ratio of rated frequency of current commutated by inverter to maximum sewing speed of the highest speed machine of parameter to maximum sewing speed of the highest speed machine of parametric row. Сущность изобретения: в универсальный электропривод для эксплуатации в каждой из параметрического ряда специальных промышленных высокоскоростных швейных машин, содержащий трехфазный короткозамкнутый асинхронный электродвигатель, соединенный с швейной машиной ременной передачей и управляемый через инвертор микропроцессором, входом соединенным с блоком памяти, датчик скорости шитья, установленный на ведомом валу ременной передачи, введен блок коррекции сигналов снижения скорости шитья ременной передачей, соединенный входами с датчиком скорости шитья и блоком памяти, а выходом - с микропроцессором, при этом величина передаточного отношения ременной передачи выполнена равной отношению максимальной скорости шитья швейной машины к номинальной скорости электродвигателя, габариты, масса, электрические и магнитные параметры электродвигателя выполнены для коммутируемого тока повышенной номинальной частоты 400 - 450 Гц, а диапазон изменения скорости электродвигателя микропроцессор осуществляет от номинала вниз.
