Изобретение относится к приборам контроля за состоянием подвижного состава при техническом осмотре. Целью изобретения является повышение надежности выявления неисправной буксы и удобства при измерении температуры букс подвижного состава. Указанная цель достигается тем, что показания световых элементов на индикаторе, переключаемых сигналами с выхода термопреобразователя, например болометра, корректируются не только с течением времени от момента остановки проверяемого состава, но и в зависимости от температуры наружного воздуха, что важно в условиях резкоконтинентального климата. Для обеспечения удобства измерения датчик температуры буксы укреплен внутри полой трубки на конце шарнирно складываемой или разворачиваемой штанги, позволяющей вводить чувствительный прибор в пространство между краем пристанционной платформы и стенкой вагона и устанавливать торец трубки с термопреобразователем на буксе.
