Изобретение относится к способам получения боратов щелочных металлов, в частности десятиводной буры (тетрабората натрия), применяемой при изготовлении эмалей, глазурей, красок, в производстве цветных и оптических стекол, в качестве удобрения, дезинфицирующего средства и пр. Предлагаемый способ позволяет получить крупнокристаллический неслеживающийся продукт. Борную кислоту и соду растворяют в маточном растворе, смешивают при повышенной температуре, охлаждают с кристаллизацией до содержания 250 - 290 г/л Na2B4O7 x 10H2O в маточном растворе, после чего к образовавшейся суспензии кристаллов добавляют маточный раствор в количестве 900 - 1100 кг/т готового продукта, отделяют кристаллы вакуум-фильтрацией и сушат в сушильном барабане горячим воздухом при температуре воздуха на входе в сушильный барабан 260 - 300oС и расходе воздуха 4300 - 5000 м3/ч.The invention relates to methods for producing borates of alkali metals, in particular ten-water borax (sodium tetraborate), used in the manufacture of enamels, glazes, paints, in the production of non-ferrous and optical glasses, as a fertilizer, disinfectant, etc. The proposed method allows to obtain a large crystalline non-caking product .
