The invention relates to medicine, in particular to urology. To the known method of treating prostatitis with blockade of the posterior para-prostatic space, it is also proposed to block the anterior para-prostatic space from suprapubic access with a more balanced anti-inflammatory mixture (0.5% solution of metronidazole 100 ml, chloramphenicol 1 g, hydrocortisone 0.125 g, contracal 30,000 units and lidocaine 10 % solution of 4 ml). The first blockade is performed by injection of this mixture into the posterior para-prostatic space with a known transverse access in the Trendelenburg position for the patient. Then after 1 day in acute prostatitis and after 2 days in chronic form, anterior para-prostatic space block is performed.
