Двигатель внутреннего сгорания (ДВС) относится к области машиностроения, а именно к ДВС, применяемым в автомобилестроении и работающим на твердом топливе. ДВС содержит устройство для управления воспламенением (подрывом) твердого топлива, корпус, в котором расположены камера сгорания твердого топлива, обратные и регулируемый выпускной клапаны, цилиндр с поршнем и шатуном, кинематически соединенным с коленчатым валом, на котором установлен маховик. В корпусе расположены синхродатчик, установленный с возможностью контакта, например, с поршнем, и газовая камера, выполненная между поршнем и камерой сгорания твердого топлива, представляющей собой многозарядный патрон, состоящий из однозарядных патронов, снабженных электровзрывателями, управляемыми с возможностью их подрыва с помощью устройства для управления воспламенением (подрывом) твердого топлива.
