The invention relates to dentistry and can be used in the control of the patient's adaptive condition to dentures. The task of the proposed solution is the development of a method for an objective assessment of the state of the adaptation process to dental intervention. To solve the problem in the method of determining the adaptation process, including the registration of electromyographic pulses (EMG) from the masticatory muscles in the process of chewing, EMG pulses are recorded before and after dental intervention, the data obtained are compared and judged by the intensity of the appearance of pulses during chewing about the state of adaptation. If the intensity of the pulses is equal before and after the dental intervention, a good adaptation is judged, with a lower intensity of impulses, a poor adaptation state is judged.
