The method of removing non-ferrous metals from lumpy waste by centrifuge involves heating the waste in a metal melt and filtering it by flushing with flux. A distinctive feature of the method is that the waste is mixed into the molten lead alloy coated with flux, waste is collected in the filter cavity, washed by rotating the filter first in the melt and then in the flux layer and before unloading it is filtered from residual melt and flux outside the flux layer. As a metal melt, it is preferable to use a lead-bismuth alloy with 48-63% bismuth. As a flux, it is preferable to use a polymethyl-phenylsiloxane liquid.
