Способ осуществляется путем двуструйного введения нитрата серебра и бромида калия в водно-желатиновый раствор, получения плоских микрокристаллов бромида серебра при физическом созревании эмульсии, наращивании на плоские микрокристаллы латеральных оболочек из бромиодида серебра, осаждения твердой фазы, промывки осадка, диспергирования осадка в водно-желатиновом растворе и химической сенсибилизации.
