Способ относится к основной химической промышленности и может быть использован при нитрозной переработке газов, содержащих диоксид серы, в серную кислоту. Способ включает окисление диоксида серы в денитрационной, продукционной зонах и зоне глубокой доработки при помощи оксидов азота, поступающих с растворами серной кислоты из зоны подготовки и регенерации оксидов азота. Особенность способа заключается в том, что часть всей потребляемой в процессе воды, составляющую 15 - 70%, подают на орошение предпоследнего аппарата зоны подготовки и регенерации оксидов азота и затем направляют в основной продукционный аппарат, а оставшуюся часть воды, составляющую 85 - 30%, подают на орошение зоны глубокой доработки диоксида серы и затем - в аппараты денитрационной зоны. Это позволяет стабилизировать работу нитрозной системы в целом и работу денитрационной и продукционной зон в частности.The method relates to the main chemical industry and can be used in the nitrous processing of gases containing sulfur dioxide into sulfuric acid. This makes it possible to stabilize the operation of the nitrous system as a whole and the operation of the denitration and productional zones in particular.
