Изобретение характеризуется тем, что разгон груза осуществляют по меньшей мере в два этапа, со ступенчатым увеличением скоростей разгона на каждом последующем этапе так, чтобы на последнем этапе скорость движения груза сравнялась со скоростью движения ленты конвейера. При этом величину промежуточной скорости на каждом последующем этапе оптимизируют из условия равенства мощностей, затрачиваемых на разгон груза на каждом этапе.
