Способ используется в технологии получения керамики из титаната алюминия в металлургии, машиностроении, химии, энергетике или теплотехнике для изготовления изделий разнообразного назначения. Сущность изобретения: способ получения керамики из титаната алюминия включает смешение порошков нитрида титана и оксида алюминия, взятых в соотношении(мас.%): оксид алюминия 62 - 64; нитрид титана 36 - 38; их совместный помол, формирование заготовок и их обжиг в кислородсодержащей атмосфере до прекращения изменений массы и объема заготовок. При этом до или после формования заготовок осуществляют воздействие кислородсодержащей атмосферой на зерна нитрида титана до образования в них диоксида титана в количестве не более 95 мас.%. После охлаждения получают реакционноспеченную однофазную керамику из титаната алюминия, выход которой повышен до 111%. Эта керамика имеет тонкозернистую структуру и повышенную механическую прочность при пониженных значениях величины термического коэффициента линейного расширения.The method is used in the technology of producing ceramics from aluminum titanate in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemistry, power engineering or heat engineering for the manufacture of products for various purposes. After cooling, a reactive sintered single phase aluminum titanate ceramics is obtained, the yield of which is increased to 111%. This ceramics has a fine-grained structure and increased mechanical strength at low values of the thermal coefficient of linear expansion.
