Существенным отличием способа является использование в качестве цианирующего агента - ацетонциангидрина. Положительный эффект - повышение выхода целевого продукта до 93 - 97%, у прототипа 77 - 84%. Disperse dyes of the formula are important for dyeing synthetic fibers, primarily polyester fibers, in colors from red to blue. The essence of the method consists in the interaction of halogen-containing azo dyes with cyanating agent in the presence of a copper catalyst and a base and, if necessary, promoters - peridines or alkali metal halides, or quaternary ammonium salts. The essential difference of the method is the use of acetone cyanohydrin as a cyanating agent. The positive effect is an increase in the yield of the target product to 93 - 97%, in the prototype 77 - 84%. The effectiveness (selectivity of cyanidation) for the proposed cyanating agent is 0.9-0.98, for the prototype 0.61-0.88.
