Разработан физико-технологический процесс очистки водной среды от углеводородных загрязнений: нефтепродуктов, жировых и масляных веществ, от углеводородных соединений. Способ реализуется с использованием плавсредства, оснащенного подводной фермой, выполненной из шарнирно соединенных частей для выбора профиля волнения, допустимого для данной работы, и генераторов рабочих агентов для подачи перегретого пара и переохлажденного газа в водную среду, в ее приповерхностный слой, где указанные загрязнения наиболее концентрированы, наиболее экологически опасны и подлежат первоочередному выделению (очистке). Подводная ферма имеет каскады сопел для ориентирования и направленного по высоте и в плане введения указанных рабочих агентов в очищаемую водную среду акватории. При взаимодействии разнотемпературных сред с очищаемой жидкостью и между собой и жидкостью организуются условия высокоэффективной очистки водной среды от примесей, которые выделяют и используют по прямому назначению: утилизируют как горючее, как топливные и смазочные материалы, как котельное и дизельное топливо.
