Кран содержит корпус с входным и выходным патрубками, общим продольным каналом и поперечно каналу поворотный золотник с отверстием, соосным общему каналу. При этом для повышения надежности крана, исключения ограничений по температуре протекающей через кран среды и упрощения его конструкции золотник выполнен в виде полого цилиндра с дном, имеющим поперечный к оси цилиндра паз на некотором расстоянии от дна и паз по образующей цилиндра от открытого торца до поперечного паза. При этом торец открытой части золотника взаимодействует с коническим выступом в дне гнезда в корпусе крана, являющимся шайбой в виде усеченного конуса, свободно лежащей на дне гнезда.Crane refers to pipe fittings, in particular to valves for fluids.
