Предложенный способ заключается в том, что пентафторэтан получают путем газофазного каталитического гидрофторирования смеси тетрафторхлорэтана и тетрафторэтилена, содержащей 0 - 100% тетрафторэтилена, при температуре 310 - 475oC, мольном соотношении фтористый водород : фторируемые продукты 0,7 - 37: 1 и времени контакта 0,5 - 20 с. При этом гидрофторирование может протекать в присутствии других фторхлорсодержащих соединений, являющихся продуктами пиролитического разложения дифторхлорметана.The invention relates to the chemical technology of organic fluorine compounds. The proposed method consists in the fact that pentafluoroethane is obtained by gas-phase catalytic hydrofluorination of a mixture of tetrafluorochloroethane and tetrafluoroethylene containing 0 - 100% tetrafluoroethylene, at a temperature of 310 - 475 o C, a molar ratio of hydrogen fluoride: fluorinated products of 0.7 - 37: 1 and contact time 0.5 - 20 s. In this case, hydrofluorination can occur in the presence of other fluorochlorine compounds, which are the products of the pyrolytic decomposition of difluorochloromethane.
