Воздушно-пластмассовая изоляция для коаксиальных линий передачи СВЧ относится к радиотехнике СВЧ и представляет собой диэлектрическую трубку, наружный и внутренний диаметры которой периодически изменяются и поочередно совпадают с диаметрами соответственно наружного и внутреннего проводников линии или кабеля СВЧ. Толщина стенок трубки также периодически изменяется так, чтобы отношение наружного и внутреннего диаметров трубки оставалось постоянным в любом поперечном сечении линии, причем это отношение определяется заданным волновым сопротивлением линии, параметрами проводников и диэлектрической проницаемостью материала трубки.
