The method relates to medicine, mainly to dermatology, and may find application in the treatment of rosacea. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the duration of treatment and obtain a more stable therapeutic effect in pink acne. This goal is achieved by further conducting rubbing into the skin of the affected areas of a 5% solution of antioxidant alfatokoferol acetate in a 50-70% solution of dimexid for 3-4 weeks with preliminary determination of superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in patients in blood serum. Determining in patients with a decrease in enzyme activity is considered an indication for use in the treatment of acne rosacea, the antioxidant alpha-tocopherol acetate. The proposed method is characterized in comparison with existing more pronounced and persistent therapeutic effect, contributes to the prevention of complications, reduces the time of treatment of patients. Side effects from the therapy are absent.
