10%.Magnetic bearing refers to the design of high-speed rotors, in particular to the design of the upper support of the vertical rotor of a gas centrifuge. The magnetic support contains a ferromagnetic sleeve mounted coaxially with the rotor on its upper lid, an axially magnetised annular magnet placed with a gap above the sleeve coaxially with it in the centrifuge housing, and a pole piece made in the form of a ring with a radial flange at the end, adjacent to the lower end magnet. The ferromagnetic sleeve is provided at the upper end with an annular radial protrusion, whose thickness is 1.5 - 2.5 wall thickness of the sleeve, and its height - 0.1 - 0.3 height of the sleeve; the width of the bottom end of the pole tip is 1.8 - 2.2 times the width of the upper end of the ferromagnetic sleeve, the average diameters of the ends coincide, and the outer diameter of the radial flange of the pole tip is 0.92 - 0.95 of the average diameter of the magnet. The ratios of the geometrical parameters of the magnetic support elements provide a simultaneous decrease in pressure on the lower rotor support by 5% and an increase in the radial rigidity of the upper support by 10%.
