Abstract
A device for electrical stimulation of biological objects consists of an isolation transformer, a reference impedance, an amplifier, and an oscilloscope. The device operates as follows. The annoying pulse from the electric stimulator is fed to the primary winding of the isolation transformer, and from the second pulse it is fed to the annoying electrodes and the reference resistance. From the reference impedance, the pulse is fed to the amplifier, and then to the oscilloscope. The oscilloscope is calibrated to measure the magnitude of the annoying impulse and, based on its readings, determine the real value of the current in the electrical stimulation circuit. The advantage of the proposed device is that it allows you to control the amount of current in the circuit of electrical stimulation of biological objects, taking into account the changed values of the resistance of biological tissue and stimulating electrodes. The proposed device is easy to manufacture and reliable in operation. 1 ill.
Description
Offer related to medical technology.
The prototype of the proposed device for measuring the magnitude of the current supplied to the stimulating electrodes adopted the device [1] built-in, for example, in the electric stimulator ESU-1 and consisting of a galvanometer calibrated in Volts, as well as resistors for switching the ranges of the supplied voltage to the electrodes are included in this circuit. The disadvantage of the prototype in the absence of data on the magnitude of the flowing current in the circuit of electrical stimulation of biological objects, since the resistance of nerve tissue and stimulating electrodes is unknown, unstable and can vary during registration of electrical responses in the experiment. In addition, the difficulty of measuring the magnitude of the annoying current in physiological experiments lies in the fact that the duration of the stimulating pulse is small and is 0.1-0.3 ms. With electrical stimulation of bioelectric objects, it is necessary to know the magnitude of the current of the annoying pulse in order to select the optimal limit for the activation of the required groups of nerve cells.
The purpose of the invention is the creation of an electronic device for measuring current in an electrical stimulation circuit, i.e. electrical irritation of biological objects using bipolar electrodes.

The device operates as follows.
