The utility model relates to technical teaching aids and can be used, in particular, in training specialists of the railway industry in computer classes.
Currently, computer classes are widely used in educational processes, consisting of computers installed at the workplace of trained computer personnel (RF Patent No. 2197748, IPC 7 G09B 5/14, 2003). Demonstration training systems are also known, which include a teacher’s workstation with a switching and control unit and a personal computer connected to a large-screen monitor, and students’ workstations with individual switching and control units interconnected by a local network with a switching and control unit for a workplace lecturer (RF Patent No. 2196359, IPC 7 G09B 5/00, 2003).
As a prototype of the claimed technical solution, a multimedia training class was selected containing a teacher’s workstation equipped with a computer, trainee workstations equipped with individual computers interconnected by a local network with the teacher’s computer, and a projector connected to the teacher’s computer (US Patent No. 5002491, IPC5 G09B 5 / 00, 1991).
The well-known multimedia class allows you to conduct the learning process with the ability to communicate between the teacher and students in an interactive mode (in the “question” - “answer” mode) with the parallel display of various audiovisual information on the teacher’s computer monitor, on the projector’s display and on the student’s computer monitors.
The disadvantage of a multimedia training class selected as a prototype is as follows.
Quite often in the learning process there is a need for students to show a large amount of diverse, hierarchically organized (sections, subsections, etc.) graphic and textual information. In the well-known class adopted as a prototype, the operational search for a large amount of information contained in the teacher’s computer is difficult (especially in cases where the teacher needs to quickly find a specific segment of the information array without sequentially viewing the entire array or a specific section of the array containing the segment of interest). In addition, the presentation of the material being studied in the form of images shown only on the student’s monitor screen and on the projector’s display reduces the degree of assimilation of the material being studied by the students and the formation of a stable and memorable idea of the material being studied.
Thus, the disadvantages of the well-known multimedia training class are the lack of efficiency in the presentation of the material being studied and the degree of its assimilation by the students.
The problem solved by the utility model is to increase the efficiency of the presentation of the studied material and the degree of its assimilation by the trainees.
This problem is solved in that a multimedia training class containing a teacher’s workstation equipped with a computer, student workstations equipped with individual computers interconnected by the local network with the teacher’s computer, and a projector connected to the computer, the file systems of the teacher’s computer and the students’ computers the possibility of dialogue interaction with each other, additionally contains a radio modem connected to the teacher’s computer, graphic materials at the training course, containing information blocks with numbers assigned to each block, and stationary panels for the number of graphic materials, equipped with antennas for communication with a radio modem and placed near the graphic materials, and a demonstration screen for projecting images from the projector display, while stationary panels made with the possibility of selecting the numbers of information blocks and transferring data about the selected number to the teacher’s computer, and the file system of the teacher’s computer made with the functions of the database contained in the information blocks of graphic materials, and interactive control of the display of the mentioned database.
In an embodiment of the technical solution, the multimedia training class includes means for remote control of the projector, including a mobile remote control and a repeater, made in the form of an infrared signal to an RF signal converter.
In the embodiment of the technical solution, the graphic materials are made in the form of interactive wall posters.
The utility model is illustrated in the drawing. 1 schematically shows a multimedia training class.
A multimedia training class includes a teacher’s workstation 1, containing a computer 2, to which a radio modem 3 is connected, and a mobile remote 4; a repeater 5, made in the form of a converter of an infrared signal into a radio frequency signal; a multimedia projector 6 connected to the teacher’s computer 2, a demonstration screen 7, student workstations 8, including computers 9; interactive wall posters 10 according to the curriculum, and stationary consoles 11, the number of which is equal to the number of posters 10. Each console 11 is placed near the corresponding poster, for example, on a table (not shown in Fig.). The remote controls 11 are equipped with antennas for wireless transmission of a signal over a radio channel to a radio modem 3. The information on the posters 10 is organized in the form of information blocks, with a specific number assigned to each block. The information indicated may be of a different nature. So, for example, when training specialists in the railway industry, posters 10 may reflect information regarding the types of freight cars of rolling stock, their device and possible malfunctions of functional units of cars. The computer of the teacher 2 and the computers of the students 9 are integrated into a single local network. The file systems of the computer of the teacher 2 and the computers of the students 9 are made with the possibility of dialogue interaction with each other, for example, in the “question” - “answer” mode, while the file system of the computer of the teacher 2 has the functions of a database contained in the information blocks of posters 10, and interactive display control of said database. The mobile remote control 4 and the repeater 5 are remote control means for the operation of the projector 6, which, for example, is suspended from the ceiling of the room where the multimedia class is located.
7.The learning process in the claimed class is as follows. The teacher communicates with students in an interactive mode. Information that appears during the dialogue is displayed on the screens of computer monitors 2 of the teacher and computer monitors 9 of the trainees, as well as on the display of the projector 6. Remote control of the projector 6 (on or off presentation material, sequence of shots, etc.) is carried out by the teacher using manual mobile remote control 4. The signal from the remote control 4 in the form of infrared optical radiation is transmitted to the repeater 5, and the radio frequency signal of the repeater 5 controls the operation of the projector 6. The information contained on the posters 10 is as follows. The teacher approaches the remote control 11 under the corresponding poster 10, and dials the number on the keyboard of the remote control 11, indicating the number of the information block under consideration on the poster 10. The signal from the remote control 11 is transmitted via radio channel to computer 2 and, as a result, to the projector 6 and simultaneously on the screens of computer monitors 2 and 9, an image corresponding to the information block in question appears on the poster 10. Simultaneously, from the display of the projector 6, the image is projected onto the demonstration screen 7.
Thus, posters 10 serve as a kind of “hint” to the teacher, help him quickly find and show the students the necessary information (text, graphic), thereby performing an interactive function in the process of “dialogue” with the teacher.
In addition, the presence of posters with information relating to the material being studied, supplementing the images that students see on the screens of their computers, on the projector display and on the demonstration screen, contributes to a more solid assimilation of the material under study and the formation of a memorable idea about it.
