Abstract

Known book magnetic bookmark (WO2004078487), consisting of a tape bent in half, at the two ends of which are fixed flat magnets. A page (or several pages) is placed between the sides of a folded bookmark. Thanks to the attraction of the magnets, the bookmark is held on the page (or several pages).

The disadvantage of such a bookmark is that it requires regular shifting of the bookmark with magnets to mark the right place. Magnets having a certain thickness and stiffness can damage pages of books and texts, in addition, attaching magnetic bookmarks to sheets (one or more) of a book covering both sides of the sheet ambiguously determines where the reading stops.

The objective of the utility model is to ensure, using magnetic attraction, bookmark fastening with removal of the fastening point from the pages of the book to the bookend of the book, which has a high paper density and does not carry significant information, as well as to provide a more accurate determination of where the reading stops. This will completely eliminate the possibility of damage to text pages, and free the user from the regular transfer of bookmark magnets on book pages.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the bookmark magnetic bookmark having a flexible element and two magnets is equipped with an additional element - a latch on which one of the magnets is fixed.

Due to the separation of the bookmark design into two elements, the fastening is carried out on the bookend (front or back), while the magnets are located on the sides of the bookend, which completely eliminates the possibility of damage to text pages, and frees the user from regularly shifting to attach bookmark magnets.

The bookmark consists of a flexible element 1, on which the magnet 2 is fixed, and a latch 3, on which the magnet 4 is fixed.

The latch 3 is installed by magnet 4 to the bookend of book 5, and the flexible bookmark element with magnet 2 is applied counterclockwise to the back of the bookend. By magnetic attraction, the structure is fixed on the bookend of book 5. The flexible element 1 of the bookmark is made of a material having flexibility sufficient for repeated folding and sufficient density to remain fixed on the bookend.

Such materials may be:

- paper with a laminated layer;

- thin cardboard with a varnished layer;

- plastic materials;

- the cloth.

To give additional flexibility on paper and plastic materials on the body of the bookmark can be made transverse scoring lines 6.

The bookmark latch has no particular restrictions and recommendations on size and materials.
