Description
The invention relates to devices for measuring magnetic fields, in particular to proton magnetometers, and can be used in magnetic mineral exploration. The aim of the invention is to expand the range of automatic measurements. The drawing shows a functional diagram of the proposed magnetometer. The magnetometer has a serially connected sensor 1, a precession signal amplifier 2, a limiter 3, a phase-locked loop multiplier 4, a counter 5, as well as a command unit 6, a coincidence unit 7, and a switching unit 8. The magnetometer operates as follows. After the end of the polarization pulse, the signal from the sensor 1 is fed to an amplifier 2, the signal-to-noise ratio at the output of which is 30. In the limiter 3, rectangular symmetrical pulses are generated, which are fed to the multiplier 4. The latter performs the functions of tracking the input signal, multiplying and additional filtering. As a result, at the output of multiplier 4, the signal has a signal-to-noise ratio of the order of 300 and higher. After the pulse count is completed, the nuclear precession signal continues for the time required to synchronize the polarization, and positive pulses from the second output of the multiplier 4, the frequency and duty cycle of which correspond exactly to the frequency of the nuclear precession signal, are fed to the second input of coincidence unit 7. High frequency pulses from the third output of multiplier 4 are supplied to the third input of coincidence unit 1. Their frequency is a multiple of the frequency of the nuclear precession signal. A pulse is applied to the first input of coincidence unit 1, which allows polarization from the command unit 6. If all three input pulses coincide in phase, an output appears at the output of unit 1, which acts on the switching unit 8. From this moment, the polarization of the working medium begins sensor 1, i.e. a new magnetometer cycle begins.
Thus, the proposed magnetometer circuit allows automatic synchronization of polarization in a wide range of measured fields and not
требует посто нной настройки по фазе (сигнала дерной прецессии), как в известных магнитометрах.requires constant tuning in phase (nuclear precession signal), as in the known magnetometers.
