Abstract

The utility model relates to systems for the provision of goods and services through a data network. The system for remote ordering of goods contains a server device, including interconnected with the possibility of two-way data exchange, a subsystem for generating a user interface, a subsystem for searching for goods, connected to a database of goods and containing a block for loading search forms for goods and a block for searching goods, a subsystem for generating a three-dimensional image of the goods, subsystem of logging and registration of the client, subsystem of forming the basket of the client, subsystem of registration and saving the order, subsystem data and navigation of the search results and the subsystem for generating and displaying detailed product cards, while the system includes at least one client terminal, made in the form of a touch kiosk, connected by a data network to a server device and designed to display a user interface that allows the client to interact with the remote system ordering goods. The utility model relates to systems for the provision of goods and services through a data network.

State of the art

The prior art knows the technical solution disclosed in the patent of the Russian Federation N 2156040, containing many salons for serving buyers of trading floors and a lot of information shopping centers, which concentrate information on the goods and services provided. Sales areas and information shopping centers are connected to the local network via standard communication lines. Each trading room (salon) is equipped with personal computers, monitors or a large television screen connected via a video controller to a special processor. Each information shopping center has a server, a processor, a terminal, and a data input and preparation unit, the inputs of which are connected to the outputs of many sensors of information data.

In the patent for utility model of the Russian Federation No. 20979 another technical solution is disclosed, which is an analogue of the present utility model. It contains many trading floors connected to a local network, each of which is equipped with a personal computer and a monitor, and many information shopping centers, each of which has a personal computer, a monitor and two transmitting television cameras, while the trading floor is equipped with one or more electronic video cameras, aimed at the seller and demonstrated models and equipped with tele-control system monitoring parameters, voice communication system that provides direct dialogue with the purchase elem, shopping centers are in the form of closed cabins, designed for one or more users, equipped with a preview system information about selling a product or service, and the means for its

choice, a CCTV system focused on the place (or chair) where the buyer is located (to provide visual direct contact).

This technical solution has a high cost and complexity of implementation.

Closest to the technical nature of this utility model is the Ozon remote ordering system of goods (http://www.ozon.ru), which includes interconnected with the possibility of two-way data exchange, a subsystem for forming a user interface, a subsystem for searching goods connected to a database of goods and containing a block for loading forms for searching goods and a block for searching goods, a subsystem for logging and registering a client, a subsystem for forming a customer basket, a subsystem for placing and storing an order, a subsystem displaying and navigating search results and a subsystem for generating and displaying detailed product cards, wherein the system includes at least one customer terminal connected to a data network with a server device and designed to display a user interface that enables the customer to interact with the remote ordering system.

A disadvantage of the known system is its low consumer qualities, which do not allow the user of this system to get a complete picture of the product being ordered. In addition, the architecture of the known system does not allow to place the terminals of this system in places of a large concentration of potential buyers.

The objective of this utility model is to overcome the above disadvantages of the prior art.

The problem is solved using a remote ordering system of goods, which contains a server device, including interconnected with the possibility of two-way data exchange, a subsystem for forming a user interface, a subsystem for searching goods, connected to a database of goods and containing a block for loading forms for searching goods and a block for searching goods, a subsystem for logging and registering a client, a subsystem for forming a client’s basket, a subsystem for placing and storing an order, a subsystem for displaying and navigating search results and

a subsystem for generating and displaying detailed product cards, wherein the system includes at least one customer terminal connected to a data network with a server device and designed to display a user interface that enables the customer to interact with a remote ordering system.

In one of the embodiments, the client terminal is made in the form of a touch kiosk.

In yet another embodiment, the subscriber terminal may further comprise a printing device.

In yet another embodiment, the product database is located on a remote server connected to the server device by a data network.

In yet another embodiment, the data network is the Internet.

In another embodiment, the server device may include a subsystem for the formation of a three-dimensional image of the goods.

In another embodiment, the server device further comprises a database of orders and customers connected to a subsystem for placing and storing an order and a subsystem for logging and registering a client.

Detailed description of utility model

According to one embodiment of the utility model, the client terminal can be made in the form of a touch kiosk (hereinafter referred to as a kiosk), which is a hardware-software complex, data input into which (user interaction) is carried out through the screen of a touch monitor. In this case, data entry for the search for goods and the implementation of the order is carried out using the virtual (on-screen) keyboard.

In one embodiment of the invention, the kiosk may further include a printing device allowing the user to print an order form with its composition and other information.

To provide access to the software located on the web server of the trading system and providing an interface for searching and ordering goods, the kiosk is connected to the Internet via a dedicated channel through a network interface.

Figure 1 presents the structural diagram of the server device.

The subsystem 11 forming the user interface can be implemented using technologies ASP.NET, HTML and JavaScript. Part of the application logic can be implemented on the client side to minimize the number of calls to the server; for the same purpose, asynchronous data exchange technology is used (data exchange with the server without redrawing the entire page).

Subsystem 12 of the search for goods can be divided into two functional blocks:

- unit for loading product search forms - provides forms for entering search criteria specific to each type of product (books, music,

video, software), and provides for the collection of user-entered data on the desired product, and

- a product search unit that provides interaction with the database server on which the product database is located and performs searches based on the criteria entered by the user.

If the search was successful, then the subsystem 15 for displaying and navigating the search results prepares the product data for display in a short form and displays the search results page by page on the user screen.

The client has the opportunity to view the product in a more detailed form. To display detailed product cards, the kiosk further includes a subsystem 16 for generating and displaying detailed product cards. In addition to displaying standard product description attributes, this subsystem checks for additional types of descriptions for the product. These can be extended electronic descriptions in ABC format and the “scroll through” function for albums. If such descriptions for the goods are present, then the subsystem creates additions in the user interface for viewing these descriptions.

As the client views the information about the products found, the user has the opportunity to add the product to the basket. Storage of information about the goods of the user subsystem 13 forming the basket of the client. In addition to storing product information, it is possible to change the quantity for each item using the user interface that displays the composition of the basket.

To place an order, the client needs to log in by entering the username and password known to him, or register as a new client. Authorization and registration of clients is carried out by a special subsystem 14 of client logging and registration. For each kiosk, it is possible to regionally configure it so that the country and region where the kiosk is installed are indicated in the form of choosing the delivery address of the order.

After choosing the region method and the delivery method, the cost of order delivery is calculated based on these data. Then information about the client and the parameters of his order is stored in the database of clients and orders. This work is carried out by the subsystem 17 clearance and save the order.

An order is considered executed if the customer has received his number. Further interaction between the client and the representative of the trading system is carried out by e-mail or by phone.

To ensure the full cycle of the sale, from the search for goods to placing an order and sending it to the client, an internal software infrastructure operates. To ensure the operation of the kiosk application, two databases function on the servers. The product database contains information on products available for sale through a kiosk. This database is filled with data on goods and prices using other internal applications that are not related to the description of the kiosk functionality. Upon receipt of a request from the kiosk for the search for goods, the subsystem 12 for searching for goods searches the product database and sends the search results to the kiosk user.

The database of orders and customers contains information about newly registered customers and orders placed by them.

In one embodiment of the invention, managers of the Biblio-Globus Trading House can use one more application to track orders: an administrative module having a user interface for viewing newly received orders and processing them. This module is also used to interact with customers - send them notifications about the status of the order.

All subsystems of the server device can be implemented on the basis of microprocessor devices using, for example, the following applications and programming languages Net (Framework 2.0), DBMS: Microsoft SQL Server 2000, C #, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.

Next, the functionality of this utility model (search and ordering books, music, films and programs) will be described using the example of a remote goods ordering system of the Biblio-Globus Trading TD with reference to FIGS. 2-13.

Figure 2 shows the main page generated by the server device and displayed on the screen of the touch kiosk. Using this page, the client can select the necessary product category or refer to the help.

On figa and 3b presents a simple and advanced search form, with which the client can carry out a generalized and more specific search for the desired product.

A search query, in the case of executing a client terminal in the form of a touch kiosk, can be performed using the virtual keyboard shown in Fig. 4 displayed on the kiosk display.

An example of a page displaying search results is shown in FIG. When you click on one of the links displayed on this page, you go to the page "product card", presented in Fig.6. Adding products to the basket is done by clicking on the “to basket” icon. Her click initiates the addition of goods to the basket and the appearance of the dialogue shown in Fig.7.

If the product was added from the search results, then clicking the “continue shopping” button will close this dialog, and if from the product’s card, it will return to the search results.

When adding several products to the basket, the number of products in the basket will be displayed on the button with the symbol of the basket on the left side of the screen.

After completing the addition of goods to the basket, the client can either go to the search for other goods (for example: music or films) or go to the basket to place an order.

On Fig presents the page basket of the client. If there are goods in the basket, the client can count the quantity of the goods and by clicking on the "Place an order" button go to the choice of authorization method.

Figure 9 presents the page for choosing the authorization method, on which the client can log in as a registered user or, as a new user, register. The registration page of the new user is presented in figure 10.

In FIG. 11a, a page for selecting a delivery region is displayed, and if the delivery region matches the seller’s location, the page shown in FIG. 11b is displayed, on which the client can select the type of delivery.

After selecting the delivery type, a page with the order form of FIG. 12 is displayed, which can be printed on a printing device of the client terminal. The order form of Fig.13, contains its composition, customer registration data and the order amount, taking into account the cost of delivery.

A serious problem of e-commerce, in particular the sale of goods via the Internet, is the state of isolation of the buyer from the thing, lack of information due to the lack of tactile sensations and close

visual contact with the product, which prevents the decision to purchase. Therefore, in one embodiment, the Biblio-Globus TD system may have additional capabilities that eliminate the problem of customer isolation from the book.

ABC Electronic Book Descriptions

Extended electronic descriptions of books according to the ABC standard provide the ability to see a three-dimensional image of the book, dust jacket, foreword, contents, from the author, alphabetical subject index, imprint. The buyer remotely receives those parts of the book that are familiar with the shop in the process of choosing a book. Electronic description of books in ABC format is critically necessary for customers when buying non-fiction, scientific, technical, and specialized literature.

Scroll function.

This feature allows the buyer to literally scroll through the book he is interested in remotely, being in front of the touch terminal or home computer. The presented system allows the client to see illustrations from art albums and gift editions.

Remote access to the assortment base of the Biblio-Globus store with the ability to search for products according to various criteria.

In addition to a detailed description of the goods according to another embodiment, information is provided on the location of the goods in the store at the moment in the form of “Hall → Rack → Shelf Name”. It is also possible to print a check with information about the location of the goods. It is possible to view a three-dimensional map of the store. Thus, a virtual journey through the store.

For a specialist it is obvious that the present technical solution is not limited to the examples given in the description, and can be easily modified without going beyond the scope of this technical solution.

In addition, this technical solution allows you to expand the service provided to the client up to printing the text of the book, provided

compliance with copyright. This service is the prospect of using the proposed technical solution for customers in various conditions: library, shopping center, hospital, department or ministry, school, university, etc.

A system for remote ordering of goods, comprising a server device, including interconnected with the possibility of two-way data exchange, a subsystem for forming a user interface, a subsystem for searching goods, connected to a database of goods and containing a block for loading search forms for goods and a block for searching goods, three-dimensional formation subsystem product images, a subsystem for logging and registering a client, a subsystem for forming a customer’s basket, a subsystem for placing and storing an order, a subsystem for display and navigation of search results and a subsystem for generating and displaying detailed product cards, while the system includes at least one client terminal made in the form of a touch kiosk connected to a data transmission network with a server device and designed to display a user interface that allows the client to interact with the remote system ordering goods. 2. The system according to claim 1, characterized in that the subscriber terminal further comprises a printing device. 3. The system according to claim 1, characterized in that the database of goods is located on a remote server connected to the server device by a data transmission network. 4.
