Abstract

Due to the increasing demand for buses for transporting children in the settlements of the Russian Federation and between them, there are more and more new safety requirements for them and their equipment, a small number of such buses that meet their requirements and there is a need to create a “Bus for transportation children. " In the world bus industry, there are no uniform requirements for buses carrying children; therefore, Russian bus manufacturers are guided by the uniform requirements for buses for carrying children - this is GOST R 51160-98. "Bus for the transport of children" refers to special-purpose buses intended for the transport of children in the city, the suburbs, between settlements and operation on highways with various types of coatings and dirt roads. "Bus for the transport of children" in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 51160-98 has: a workplace equipped with light and sound signaling devices, an internal and external automobile loud-speaking installation, a 4-row layout of the passenger compartment, passenger seats equipped with seat belts and armrests, above the passenger seats, luggage racks, about each 2-seater seat on the sidewall under the windows of the driver’s communication button, a passenger door with a control mechanism, a footrest with steps and handrails, extendable I have a step with a control mechanism, a luggage compartment with a rear hatch, with a spare door, with a rack for knapsacks, with a place for 2 chairs - strollers. Description

A “bus for transporting children”, presented for a utility model, refers to vehicles, namely, special-purpose buses, designed to transport children in a city, a suburb, between settlements and operating on roads with various types of coatings and a dirt general transport network Russian Federation.

This bus for transporting children has the following violations of GOST R 51160-98: a large height of the steps from the ground level; blind partition of the driver; 8 passenger seats for children facing the side opposite to the movement of the bus; there is no device preventing the start of movement with open passenger doors; no outdoor car speaker installation; no speed limit device; no luggage compartment with luggage containers. In some regions of the Russian Federation, children are delivered to school from neighboring villages located 10 kilometers or more from educational institutions on KavZ-39765 Shkolny buses, commercially available from Kurgan Bus Plant OJSC. A bus-type bus with a capacity of 22 passenger seats with one passenger door has: a retractable footrest with pneumatic drive, passenger seats with seat belts and armrests,

a driver’s partition with an open window opening, a luggage compartment with 2 racks for knapsacks (with their fixation against falling out when the bus is moving) and 2 places for fastening wheelchairs, luggage racks above the passenger seats, indoor and outdoor car speakerphone. The bus has a number of shortcomings and violations of the requirements of GOST R 51160-98: the steps of the passenger footrest over 200 mm high, the armrests on the passenger seats are not folding, there are no passenger seats for accompanying persons, luggage racks are not installed above all passenger seats, there is no device preventing the bus from starting to move when open passenger door, no speed limiting device. Also, for transporting children in rural areas, the PAZ-32054-70 bus is used, which has been mass-produced by Pavlovsky Bus Plant LLC since 2004. A coach-type bus, 2-door, with a capacity of 27 passenger seats for children and 2 deployed passenger seats for accompanying persons. The bus is equipped with: passenger seats with armrests and seat belts; each row of seats has buttons for communication with the driver on the sidewall; indoor and outdoor car speakerphone installation; a luggage compartment with a rack for knapsacks (with a securing device to prevent them from falling out) and a niche with a device securing 2 wheelchairs (when folded); luggage racks above passenger seats for children; additional retractable footrest with pneumatic drive; handrails on the left and right at the entrance; speed limiting device. This bus has a number of shortcomings and violations of the requirements of GOST R 51160-98: luggage compartment of the bus less than 3 m ² ; not folding armrests in the passenger seats; there is no device that prevents the start of the bus when the doors are open with the footboard extended or when

fully enclosed doors; there is no mirror system allowing the driver to control the entry and exit of children from the road level to the floor surface of the bus. The closest analogue to the bus presented for a utility model is the PAZ-32054-70 bus, which has an identical body, driver’s workplace, passenger compartment, chassis, passenger door and is designed for transporting children.

The purpose of the development of the presented utility model is to eliminate the shortcomings and bring the design of the PAZ-32054-70 bus for transporting children in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 51160-98, ensuring convenience and safety when transporting children on PAZ buses.

"A bus for transporting children" has a driver’s workplace: equipped with light and sound signaling devices about the need to stop, switched on from passenger seats, equipped with an internal and external car speakerphone (one-way speakerphone with a passenger compartment and a loudspeaker on the roof of the bus) (Fig. 1- 5, 7; item 1).

Changed the layout of the passenger compartment. To the right (7 seats) and to the left (3 seats) of the central aisle, 2-seater separate seats are installed (Figs. 5-6; pos. 2), located face-down along the bus. This installation of seats (4-row) allows you to more freely pass through the central aisle. In front of the engine capsule there is a 2-seater seat (Fig.6; pos.3) for accompanying persons, located face to the passenger compartment, so that children are supervised by the accompanying adults. In the rear of the passenger compartment are located: luggage compartment with a rear hatch (Fig.6; pos.4),

a footrest (Figs. 5-6; pos. 5) and an emergency door (Fig. 1; pos. 6) mounted on the right side of the bus. The luggage compartment has an area of 3 m ² and on it are located: a rack for backpacks with a locking device from falling out of backpacks and other hand luggage from the rack (Fig. 6; item 7) and a special place with a locking device for transporting 2 wheelchairs strollers in the folded state (Fig.6; pos.8). A fairly large free area in front of the rack allows you to load and unload satchels and other things of children on the rack without unnecessary crush. The rear hatch and a spare door located in the luggage compartment area allow you to freely load and unload wheelchairs and other bulky items. Above all passenger seats, except seats for accompanying persons, luggage racks are installed for personal belongings of children and persons accompanying them (Figs. 5, 7; pos. 9). Hooks for the outer clothing of passengers are installed on the window racks of the sidewalls.

The design of passenger seats has been changed (except for seats for accompanying persons) in accordance with the regulatory requirements for child seats GOST R 51160-98. The seats are equipped with folding armrests (Figs. 5-6; pos. 10) that prevent children from falling out into the central aisle and serve to hold onto them while moving along the central aisle. All seats are equipped with restraints (seat belts with adjustable waist belt length).

On the sidewalls in the passenger compartment under the windows, at each transverse row of seats, to the left and right of the central aisle there are signal buttons for sound and light communication with the bus driver "Request for a stop" (Fig. 5; 11).

The footboard on both sides and one leaf of the passenger door are equipped with handrails, and when the doors are opened, the passenger door leaf overlaps the handrail on one side of the footboard, therefore, on the leaf of the passenger door

one more additional handrail is installed below the first one to ensure the requirements for handrails on buses for transporting children in accordance with GOST R 51160-98 (Figs. 8-10; pos. 12). On the steps of the passenger doors, the step, the height of the steps are made in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 51160-98 (Figs. 5-6; pos. 13) and a retractable step is additionally introduced, which provides a size of 250 mm from the roadway specified by GOST R 51160-98. When the driver sends a signal to open the passenger door at the same time as the door is opened (Figs. 9-10; pos. 14), an additional step (Figs. 7-10; pos. 15) is advanced using the mechanism. When the driver feeds the signal at the same time as the door is closed, the retractable step is also removed. On the windows of the passenger compartment mounted sunblinds made of thick fabric (figure 5; pos.16). The passenger compartment of the bus is equipped with 2 medical first-aid kits, one of them is located on the luggage rack with the other driver (Figs. 5-6; pos.17). In addition to the movable window vents of the sidewalls and 3 ventilation hatches on the roof in front of it there is an electric exhaust fan controlled from the driver’s workplace (Figs. 1-2, 5; pos. 18).

On the bus for transporting children, a device is installed that prevents the start of the movement of the bus when the passenger door is not closed and when the retractable step is extended. This device consists of an electronic system (Fig. 7-10; item 19) with sensors associated with the mechanisms for opening the passenger door and retractable stage (Fig. 7-10; item 20). The bus engine is equipped with a bus speed limiting device (Fig.6; pos.21).

The fire extinguishing system has been changed on the bus for transporting children. To the 2 powder type fire extinguishers already present in the bus compartment (Fig. 6; item 21), a new aerosol-type engine fire extinguishing system located in the engine compartment is added, consisting of an aerosol generator and a special cable - a sensor that responds to a certain temperature in the bus engine compartment

(Fig. 5; item 22). This system is controlled commandfully from the driver’s workplace and automatically from a special cable - sensor in the engine compartment of the bus.

The bus body is specially painted in bright yellow (signal) color. On the sidewalls, on the front and rear parts of the body, contrasting inscriptions “Children” are applied (Figs. 1–4; pos. 23), on the windows of the rear and front of the bus the identification signs “Carriage of children” are glued - a yellow square with a red border and with an image black profiles of running children in the center of the square (from the road sign "Caution children") (Fig.3-4; pos.24). Around the perimeter of the bus, with small gaps in the connectors (except for the front part), a special yellow-reflecting tape made of yellow plastic is glued, in addition to marker lights (Figs. 1-2, 4; item 25). On the right side wall outside the bus body, in the immediate vicinity of the passenger door (on the front pillar of the window and above the front window), a mirror system is installed that allows the driver to control the process of children entering and leaving children from the bus (Fig. 1; item 26). The same mirror system is installed in the passenger compartment of the bus (Fig.6-7; pos.27).

Constructively convenient in operation for the driver and for passengers - children of various age groups, both in the urban environment and in the countryside, this bus allows filling the gap in the domestic bus industry, and the efficiency of this type of transport is expressed not only in the social sphere, but also helps to solve economic problems.

“A bus for transporting children” can be produced by the Pavlovsky Bus Plant in any series without requiring the introduction of new technologies, on existing technological equipment and existing facilities, and can also be converted from other serially produced buses of Russian production, at any other enterprises producing cars.
