The utility model is aimed at simplifying the manufacturing process of round boxes for packaging food products, reducing their cost, increasing the reliability of packaging, ensuring automation of the packaging process, as well as simplifying disposal after consuming the product. The specified result is achieved in that the assembled box consists of two tightly fitting parts: the bottom and the lid. The bottom has a base made by pressing from a round billet. In the manufacture of the workpiece, the edges are unbent, due to which a side is formed. The lid is made in the same way. Correspondence of the sizes of the base of the bottom and the cover is provided by the tool used for pressing. The side surface (rim) is glued around the perimeter to the bottom side inside, the side surface is not glued in height, but is joined end-to-end, which ensures a tight fit of the lid. In order to provide automation of packaging on the rim, there are through holes that make it easier to remove the lid when placing the product in a box on an automatic line. The bottom of the box has a depressed relief, preventing it from getting wet during use, and increasing its strength, and the lid has an embossing that increases rigidity. For the manufacture of boxes used cardboard chrome-ersatz waste coated and uncoated. The material of all components of the box: the base of the bottom, the lid and the rim, allows you to dispose of the used boxes, as well as the waste of their production in the manner prescribed for ordinary waste paper.

Round cardboard box for food products refers to pulp and paper products and relates to the food industry in terms of containers for packing segments of processed cheese and other food products, packaged in individual packaging.

Boxes of round shape made of plastic are known and widely used for the packaging of processed cheese.

Boxes and cans are known having a body wound in a direct or spiral manner from several layers of paper or cardboard. The bottom is made of thick cardboard, metal or plastic and attached to the box with glue or a fold.

The closest analogue of the utility model is a round box made by bending a pre-sealed cardboard sheet with subsequent gluing of a side surface seam. A thick cardboard is used as an insert in the bottom. Covers can be made of cardboard, plastic or metal.

Signs that are common to the known and claimed technical solution are that the box has a cardboard bottom with a round cross-section, a side surface made of cardboard, the envelope of the bottom, as well as a removable lid. After the food product (for example, cheese) is packed into the box, it is closed with a lid and glued with a special paper packaging tape-parcel, which ensures the connection of the box with its lid and the contents are preserved. The tape-parcel for connecting the bottom and the lid can be glued both around the perimeter of the box and its diameter.

The reason that prevents obtaining a technical result in the known technical solution is that the adhesive joint on the side surface of the box is overlapped and leads to an increase in the diameter of the box at the gluing place, and does not allow for a tight fit of the lid to the box body. If there is a large gap, the paper parcel during storage and transportation may tear, and the product, packed in a box, may crumble.

The objectives of the claimed utility model are:

- simplification of the manufacturing process of the box due to the refusal of gluing the side surface;

- obtaining a flat side surface to reduce the gap between the lid and the box body and ensuring a tight fit of the lid;

- increasing the strength of the box and the reliability of the package;

- providing automation capabilities for packaging;

- reduction in the cost of the box;

- the refusal to use in the design of the box plastic and metal structural elements that impede its disposal.
