Abstract
The invention relates to visual aids and can be used to demonstrate the starry sky, constellations and stars, as well as to solve various problems that require knowledge of the structure of the starry sky when it is observed in various places on the earth's surface and time of year when studying such natural disciplines as geography, astronomy , cosmology, etc. The starry sky map contains a rack, the map itself and a patch circle with a hole in an oval corresponding to the geographic latitude of the observer, concentrically mounted on it numbers from 1 to 23 are plotted along the edge of the patch circle, indicating the local average solar time. In the card itself, through holes are made with diameters proportional to the corresponding magnitudes of the stars, and behind the card there is a source of uniform illumination placed in a box facing the card with its open side. The holes in the card can be made edged in any color or covered with transparent material of any color.
Description
The invention relates to visual aids and can be used to demonstrate the starry sky, constellations and stars, as well as to solve various problems that require knowledge of the structure of the starry sky when it is observed in various places on the earth's surface and time of year when studying such natural disciplines as geography, astronomy , cosmology, etc.
Analogues of the invention can serve as numerous maps of the starry sky, placed in manuals, textbooks and special literary sources on astronomy, geography, cosmology, etc. or in planetariums (usually in large cities), where the starry sky is represented by luminous points in the hemispherical skies of fairly large diameters. The disadvantages of the first are their small scale, determined by the page size of the textbook and the image of stars and the Milky Way in the form of dark dots and spots, and the starry spherical sky of planetariums requires large material costs for their creation (special equipment is needed, an appropriate room with high-quality dimming, maintenance by specialists and other).
The closest analogue of the proposed invention, adopted by us as a prototype, is a moving sky map, consisting of two parts: the map itself and the overlay circle to it, mounted on a fixed axis passing through the geometric centers of the map and the circle perpendicular to their planes and mounted on a stand (stand ) The card is mounted to rotate around this axis. (Klimishin I.A. Elementary Astronomy. - M.: Nauka, 1991. - S. 344-346). The disadvantage of the prototype is that the stars of this sky do not shine (as is the case in reality or in planetariums), which significantly reduces the demonstration
свойства и возможности прототипа, такие как разрешающая способность, уровень моделирования (звезды не «сияют» и др.).properties and capabilities of the prototype, such as resolution, modeling level (stars do not “shine”, etc.).
Therefore, the technical task of the invention is the expansion of the demonstration capabilities of the prototype, namely the increase in resolution and greater visibility by providing star highlighting, mobility, and the possibility of use in small rooms.
The problem is solved in that in the sky map containing the rack, the map itself and the overhead circle concentrically mounted on it with a hole in an oval corresponding to the geographic latitude of the observer, and with numbers from 1 to 23 plotted on the edge of the overlay circle, indicating local average solar time , according to the invention, through holes are made in the card itself with diameters proportional to the corresponding magnitudes of the stars, and a uniform light source is placed behind the card, placed in a box facing open side to the card. The holes in the card can be made edged in any color or covered with transparent material of any color.
Such a performance of the starry sky map expands its demonstration capabilities and properties, allowing to combine the demonstration capabilities of planetariums, where the glow of stars, constellations, and prototype capabilities is provided: mobility, small size. In addition, the invention does not require high-quality dimming of large rooms, which takes place in planetariums, makes it possible for educational purposes to distinguish individual stars and constellations by color.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, which shows a map of the starry sky. The demo map of the starry sky consists of the actual map 1 and the overlay circle 2 with an oval hole 3 corresponding to the geographic latitude of the observer. Along the edge of the overlay circle 2, numbers from 1 to 23 are plotted, indicating the local average solar time (in hours). The map has holes 4 proportional to the corresponding
1.magnitudes of stars. Holes 4 can be made edged in any color to distinguish stars and constellations, or covered with transparent material of any color. Behind card 1, a uniform illumination source 5 is installed, placed in a box 6, the open side facing the card 1.
