Abstract
The utility model relates to the field of ophthalmic surgery. The technical task is to facilitate the centering process, reduce the duration of the operation, reduce the risk of surgical complications. The technical problem is solved in that the artificial lens of the eye, made of an elastic material, consists of an optical part and four symmetrical support elements made in the form of a trapezoid with an I-shaped slot in the middle.
Description
208-216 - "Implantation of a New Accomodative Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens" Journal of Refractive Surgery, Volume 18 May/June 2002; 208-216)A well-known artificial lens of the eye, consisting of an optical part and four supporting elements, proposed by HumanOptics AG under the name Type I CU ("Implantation of a new accommodating posterior intraocular lens" // Journal of refractive surgery, volume 18, May / June 2002, p. 208- 216 - "Implantation of a New Accomodative Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens" Journal of Refractive Surgery, Volume 18 May / June 2002; 208-216)
However, this lens has significant drawbacks - the lens support elements do not have centering holes, which complicates the implantation process, lengthens the duration of the operation, and increases the risk of surgical complications.
The technical task is to facilitate the centering process, reduce the duration of the operation, reduce the risk of surgical complications.
The technical problem is solved in that the artificial lens of the eye, made of an elastic material, consists of an optical part, and four symmetrical support elements made in the form of a trapezoid with a 1-shaped slot in the middle.
1.The utility model is illustrated by the drawing in figure 1.
(3).An artificial eye lens made of an elastic material consists of the optical part (1) and four symmetrical trapezoidal support elements (2) made in the form of a trapezoid with a 1-shaped slot in the middle (3).
Work with the proposed utility model is carried out as follows: after phacoemulsification of a cataract, a proposed intraocular lens is implanted through a small incision into a capsular bag by introducing it using an injector in a folded state. The expansion of the implanted lens in the capsule bag occurs due to the elastic forces of the material from which the lens is made. Centering is carried out using a hook, wound into one of the four slots of the supporting elements. Due to the fact that the slots are 1-shaped, displacement of the implanted lens is possible in all directions without intercepting the hook, which greatly simplifies the centering technique.
The use of the proposed model of the artificial lens of the eye can facilitate the process of centering, and therefore, reduce the duration of the operation and reduce the risk of surgical complications.
