Полезная модель относится к электротехнике и может использоваться в сетях временного энергоснабжения, в быту и т.д. Задачей полезной модели является создание безопасного, универсального удлинителя с повышенными эргономическими характеристиками. Поставленная задача решается созданием конструкции удлинителя, содержащего корпус с тремя выходными гнездами под штепсельные вилки отечественного и европейского стандартов, провод, подключенный одним концом к корпусу, а другим к штепсельной вилке, отличающегося тем, что контакты удлинителя выполнены с применением бронзы, а вставки - из тугоплавкой негорючей пластмассы. Кроме того, в конструкцию корпуса удлинителя может входить автомат защиты от короткого замыкания или выключатель с подсветкой/без подсветки.
