The subject of this utility model is a device for filtering drinking water.

A device for filtering drinking water, made in the form of a vessel for filtering liquids, containing a container installed therein, including a receiver for the filtered liquid and means for filtering the liquid passing from the receiver to the vessel, a lid mounted on the container with the possibility of opening for access to it (see RF patent No. 2137527, class.VOYU 35/143, publ. September 20, 1999).

The device allows you to pour the accumulated filtered water from the vessel through the open spout (open top) of the vessel, holding the container with your hand. In this case, you must use both hands. In addition, unfiltered water splashes and various contaminants can enter it through the open top of the vessel.

The result is achieved in that in the household filter, made in the form of a jug with a handle, in which a container is installed, including a filtered water receiver and means for filtering water passing from the filtered water receiver into the jug, a lid mounted on the container with the possibility of opening for access to him. In the household filter, a means is provided to prevent splashing of unfiltered water and contaminants into the filtered water (into the jug cavity), made in the form of an apron in the upper part of the container covering the entire upper surface of the jug. To ensure the authorized release of filtered water from the jug and ease of use, a tool is provided in the form of a lever mounted on the container from the side of the jug handle and a support that allows the container to be lifted above the jug nose and released to release water. The support can be made in the form of a cut of the neck of the jug towards the handle or in the form of paired protrusions on the container and corresponding pair of cutouts in the neck of the jug.

The jug is tilted and poured partially or completely the contents of the jug 1 - filtered water in the selected container. When the lever 9 is released from pressure, the container 5 returns to its original position and the filtering process continues. If necessary, the container is refilled with water.
