Abstract
Description
Field of technology to which the invention relates
The invention relates to printing, namely to printing devices.
Prior Art
There are known devices for laser printing on materials intended for printing, in which the printing process involves transferring toner to a photo roller with an electric charge. The charge of the photoshaft is formed by a laser beam. Then the toner from the photo roller is transferred to the material intended for printing and fixed thermally.
The disadvantages of these devices are the need for toner and increased energy consumption due to the thermal method of fixing the toner to the material intended for printing.
Also known are devices for inkjet printing on materials intended for printing, in which the printing process consists of ejecting drops of ink from the nozzles of the print head onto the material intended for printing.
The disadvantages of these devices are the need for ink, and there is a high probability of ink drying in the print head during prolonged inactivity of the device, which can lead to print head failure.
The claimed invention makes it possible to get rid of these shortcomings by direct thermal action on the material intended for printing to form points from which the image is subsequently constructed.
The technical result consists in reducing the cost of the printing process by eliminating ink and toner, as well as reducing environmental pollution with printing products.
The technical result is achieved by changing the color of the material intended for printing by exposing it to high temperature obtained from a heating head located at some distance. On the back of the print media is a backing that prevents burn-through of the print media by dissipating incoming heat. The image obtained in this way is lightfast and moisture resistant.
The essence of the invention
(8).The heating printing device (Fig. 1) consists of a high-voltage converter (1), a switching device (2), and a heating head (3). High voltage from the high voltage converter (1) is supplied to the switching device (2) to turn on or off the high voltage supply to the heating head (3). When a voltage sufficient to form a spark discharge is applied to the heating head (3), a spark discharge (4) is formed at the free ends of the electrodes of the heating head (3). The resulting spark discharge (4) has a high temperature and transfers heat to the material intended for printing (6) through the air gap (5). The material intended for printing (6) heats up and changes its color (7) where it is exposed to high temperature from a spark discharge (4). Discoloration (7) in the print media is due to thermal decomposition or charring. The substrate (8) located under the material intended for printing (6) protects from through burning of the material intended for printing (6), performing the function of dissipating the incoming heat. Thus, dots, symbols, letters and other graphic shapes can be applied to the surface of the material to be printed (6). The temperature at the impact site (7) can be changed by increasing or decreasing the air gap (5), as well as by changing the temperature of the substrate (8).
The heating head (Fig. 2) consists of metal electrodes (1), separated from each other by a dielectric material (2) and enclosed in a housing (3), which ensures integrity and mechanical strength. When a high potential difference is applied to the electrodes (1), a high-temperature spark discharge (4) is generated at the free ends of the heating head, which can be used for marking and printing by applying high temperature to the surface of the material to be printed.
